Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China issued the Notice on the Review Results of the 2023 National Natural Science Foundation of China Centralized Acceptance of Application Projects. According to the notice, the BJAST has been approved a total of 8 projects, including 1 general project and 7 youth science fund projects, with a total funding of 2.59 million yuan, involving 5 affiliated units and internal institutions, including the Institute of Urban Safety and Environmental Sciences, the Institute of Analysis and Testing, the National Natural History Museum, the Beijing Planetarium, and the Institute of New Materials and Advanced Manufacturing.

Our academy will continue to strengthen the organization and declaration of competitive projects, do a good job in service communication and demand docking, strengthen science and technology policy publicity and training, carry out international cutting-edge research, etc., enhance the scientific and technological innovation ability of scientific researchers of the whole academy, and strive to achieve the "14th Five-Year Plan" scientific and technological development goals of the academy.
