On December 27, the 2nd National Technical Committee on Special Dietary Foods of Standardization Administration of China was established. Beijing Institute of Nutritional Resources was approved as "Governing Unit of the National Strategic Alliance of Technology Innovation of New Food Resource Health Industry". Director Li Dong was appointed Deputy Secretary General of National Technical Committee on Special Dietary Foods of Standardization Administration of China.

Beijing Institute of Nutritional Resources has long focused on the health status of the population in large cities, using the research results of nutrition application to guide the people to establish correct and healthy life concepts and change unhealthy life styles. It will give full play to its advantages in the future standardization of food products and further promote the standardization of food industry.
